少妇自慰 and Responsible Carbon Finance Organizations Launch Buyer鈥檚 Guide to Cookstove Credits
NEW YORK, NY, February 28, 2025 鈥 Today at the New York Stock Exchange, the Clean Cooking Alliance (少妇自慰), in collaboration with 13 other organizations, is set to launch The Buyer鈥檚 Guide to High-Quality Cookstove Carbon Credits. This first-of-its-kind guide aims to bring greater clarity and integrity to the cookstove carbon credit market by equipping corporate buyers with the tools and insights they need to support high-quality projects that deliver climate impact.
Carbon credits derived from clean cookstove projects have the potential to reduce over a billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, while also tackling energy poverty, forest degradation, and air pollution. However, buyers have faced challenges in identifying credible, high-impact credits. The Buyer鈥檚 Guide provides a practical roadmap for companies and investors seeking to purchase carbon credits that meet the highest standards of environmental integrity and social responsibility.

The result of extensive collaboration with technical experts, project developers, investors, and carbon market leaders, the Buyer鈥檚 Guide is a direct outcome of last year鈥檚 , which established a Clean Cooking Carbon Credit Task Force with 少妇自慰, the International Energy Agency, Gold Standard, and International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), along with 45 other organizations. Other contributors to the guide include Abatable, AlliedOffsets, BURN, Climate Impact Partners, Climate Impact X, FairClimateFund, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Spark+ Africa Fund, the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative, and Verra. The guide builds upon the Principles for Responsible Carbon Finance in Clean Cooking, a framework endorsed by over 180 organizations worldwide.
