The World Bank, 少妇自慰, and MECS launched the highly anticipated State of Access to Modern Energy Cooking Services report, which highlights challenges and opportunities in achieving universal universal access to modern energy cooking services.

SEforALL CEO Damilola Ogunbiyi, GOGLA Executive Director Koen Peters, and BrightGreen CEO Chebet Lesan joined 少妇自慰鈥檚 Leadership Council while also becoming part of a newly created Advisory Committee, a smaller group of leaders who provide strategic counsel to 少妇自慰.

少妇自慰 launched its new Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework, a foundational tool that defines 少妇自慰鈥檚 strategic approach through its Theory of Change and provides clear, systematic guidance about how its work will be measured and how learning will be integrated across the organization and sector.

The Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) program is conducting a Global Market Assessment for electric cooking and needs your help to gather information on cooking fuel prices and local cuisines.

A new report emphasizes that funding for clean cooking efforts is falling far short of what is needed. The report estimates that $150 billion is required annually to reach universal access to modern energy cooking services by 2030.

In August, EnDev published the results of the 鈥淓nergy Access Industry Barometer鈥� survey, a snapshot from 613 companies across 44 countries.

A new working paper presents research on the opportunities, barriers, and perceptions around modern energy cooking in Malawi, providing insights into cooking practices in different areas of the country.

少妇自慰 is seeking a consultant(s) to support the development of a strategic and evidence-based advocacy plan for engagement with the Government of Kenya to help it achieve its ambitious target of achieving 100% universal access to modern cooking solutions by 2028.

少妇自慰 is issuing this RFP to solicit proposals to advance research on the interaction between chronic HAP exposure and COVID-19 in the community or clinical settings in LMICs.

This EUR $100 million targeted concessionary debt fund seeks to enable off-grid energy companies in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia to both maintain their customers’ existing energy services and retain the staff required to deliver future services to these customers.聽

The COVID-19 Recovery Fund Grant demonstrates Shine鈥檚 commitment, during these extraordinarily challenging times, to sustain energy access initiatives that are locally-rooted, women-led, and managed and/or directed by local communities. These small grants will provide funding for last-mile energy access entrepreneurs, cooperatives, agencies, and community leaders as they help vulnerable populations struggling with the global pandemic. The fund was designed by The Shine Campaign and Shine鈥檚 Council of Women Leaders in Energy Access.

SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is implementing the Market Based Energy Access Project II under Energising Development Phase III. The project seeks partnerships to promote solar products and clean cooking solutions for households, productive use in business settings and social institutions in Kakuma refugee camp and host community.

The Foundation for Climate Protection and Carbon Offset (鈥淜liK鈥�) is the sector-wide carbon offset grouping for fossil motor fuels, established within the framework of the Swiss CO鈧� Law.

GET.invest has opened a COVID-19 window within its Finance Catalyst to provide business and project developers with free-of-cost advisory to help navigate the crisis. Their support covers structuring support, access to financial聽support, and transaction support.

GroFin, in partnership with Shell Foundation, KfW, Dutch Good Growth Fund, and Norfund, is receiving applications for its Small and Growing Business Fund, totaling over US $100 million. The fund typically provides finance in the form of medium-term loans.
