少妇自慰’s 2021 Industry Snapshot, a detailed analysis of the investment and operational performance of 50 clean cooking companies between 2017 and 2019, reveals that clean cooking companies raised some $70M in 2019, more than any year since 少妇自慰 began tracking industry investment.

少妇自慰 launched its 2020 Annual Report in March, highlighting accomplishments and notable moments from 少妇自慰 and its partners throughout a challenging but no less inspiring year.

少妇自慰, in partnership with the World Resources Institute (WRI), is building an online, open-source, and interactive geospatial data platform, the first of its kind focused on clean cooking.

On March 13, 少妇自慰 Venture Catalyst company PayGas opened its first Pay-As-You-Go station in Soweto, South Africa, bringing affordable clean cooking energy to thousands of beneficiaries previously without access.

Funding Opportunities:

The Europe-Africa Partnership on Renewable Energy (LEAP-RE) program co-funded by the European Commission (EC) under Horizon 2020 aims to increase the use of renewable energy via a well-balanced set of research, demonstration, and technology transfer projects in both continents.

The Clean Cooking Alliance is accepting proposals for a technical and economic evaluation project that compares various PAYGO LPG solutions present in East Africa, for its partner, M-KOPA Labs.

The UN Global Climate Action Awards shine a light on the most innovative, scalable and replicable examples of what people around the world are doing to tackle climate change.

The GET.invest Finance Catalyst links renewable energy and clean cooking projects and businesses to finance opportunities and vice versa. It targets small- and medium-scale projects and businesses in sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean.

GroFin, in partnership with Shell Foundation, KfW, Dutch Good Growth Fund, and Norfund, is receiving applications for its Small and Growing Business Fund, totaling over US $100 million. The fund typically provides finance in the form of medium-term loans.

The Haiti Government Engagement Senior Officer will report directly to the Haiti Country Director. The Senior Officer will lead on the government engagement aspect of the Haiti Project and support the Country Director with the general management of the Project, including financial accountability, staffing, work planning, and reporting.

The Private Sector and Investment Senior Officer is responsible for leading market development efforts in the clean cooking sector in Haiti. This position requires close collaboration with the clean cooking enterprises to be supported by 少妇自慰 through the Haiti Clean Cooking Fund and other initiatives, as well as investors, grant makers, service providers and other partners relevant to the clean cooking sector in Haiti. The Officer will report directly to the Country Director in Haiti, working closely with the global Private Sector and Investment team.

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer is responsible for in-country leadership of the Monitoring and Evaluation Plan which tracks the Haiti Project’s performance through indicators and other routine M&E activities using qualitative approaches as well as creating feedback loops in the Project to improve implementation.

The Administration and Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation of operational and financial processes governing the Haiti Cookstoves and Clean Energy Market project.
