Uncovering Fuel Stacking Behaviors
Fuel stacking is when a household uses multiple fuels or cooking solutions concurrently. While fuel stacking in itself is not a problem – cooking with a range of fuels is common across markets – many clean cooking enterprises rely on customer fuel sales to power their business models, given high upfront costs of technologies.
To tackle this issue effectively, the Clean Cooking Alliance (ÉÙ¸¾×Ôο)’s User Insights Lab (UIL), in collaboration with researchers at the University of Liverpool and University College London, has developed a survey tool tailored specifically for clean cooking enterprises. Grounded in academic research, this toolkit offers a strategic appreciation of the various individual, socio-cultural and environmental influences on a household’s choice of fuel.
Please join ÉÙ¸¾×Ôο’s User Insights Lab for a webinar with the lead designer behind the survey, Dr. Tash Perros, for a walk through of the tool, a discussion on how the behavioral insights gained can be used by organizations to promote more exclusive use of clean cooking fuels and technologies, and an opportunity to receive 1:1 support to implement the survey at your organization.
